Bill Glazer and Robert Skrob take turns at sharing their 9 ‘easy’ steps to success.
These steps are not easy but they have laid them out so that you can follow them if you wish.
Steps are:
1. Identify Market
2. Selling Paper and Ink
3. Separate customers from market
4. Convert shoppers to buyers
5. Gain trust make more
6. Sell once collect monthly
7. The upsell
8. Protection and exansion
9. Don’t make mistakes
So they sound easy but all take ‘work’ and if you can live with that and actually do it, then you might make your million dollars in 12 months but it’s not going to fall from the sky.
Sprinkled throughout are heaps of anecdotes and business examples to explain the key concepts and Dan Kennedy wraps up with a look at the same business he began without the tools he had available today.
If you’re a Dan Kennedy fan, get it. If not, get it anyway because you’ll soon become one. It’s another one of those books full of its own cliff notes and belongs on your reference shelf.
Another good story from Problogger. I think I must have been really jaded when I wrote the review. I stand with another foot in my mouth. Blog sold for $95,000.
I also quilt and I had a little accident with the rotary cutter, a lethal device used to cut fabric. It ended up taking out a chunk of my left index finger, and it went through the artery, and now I have several stitches and bandaging and am on heavy duty pain relief. This makes reading a bit difficult and typing even more so. Sorry if you’re waiting for reviews. They are on their way.
Robert Cialdini along with Noah Goldstein, and Steve J Martin have found 50 different ways to utilise under-graduate students in this study on how to be persuasive. They have tested 50 different techniques to find out what would work and what wouldn’t by putting under-graduate students into test situations and monitoring the results.
This is one of those books that you need to add to your collection like a dictionary. There is way too much valuable information for any cliff notes to be reasonable here.
This book shows you how to get hotel guests to recycle, how to get people to volunteer and how to leave a larger tip, just to name a few.
Whether you’re a marketer or a worker, this book is invaluable in increasing everyone’s income just by changing one word in some circumstances.
Add it to your collection or be persuaded by another. Yes! I want to Persuade
With the release of Click Here to Order, Joel Comm’s Adsense Code has also hit the best seller lists again.
I reviewed this when it originally came out. I call him Joel the father of Adsense. While heaps has been written about Google Adwords, the advertising campaign, little had really been written about Adsense and how publishers could best utilise it to make a passive income from their sites.
Joel Comm gives you heaps of tips and tricks and shows you how to cleverly disguise your ads while still complying with Google.
He took his earnings up to $600.00 a DAY with Adsense. That’s some loose change I’d like.
He’s giving away a free copy at the moment because he’s delirious over the success of Click Here to Order so if you want to get the info for free that I paid for (but made money from) go here: Father of Adsense
